The new Sunplus series of horticultural led from Lumileds really stand out in the crowd boasting many features other SMD lack and giving exceptionally high performance at their binned current levels.

All Lumileds horticultural led are binned on PPF which is a first in the industry, each led is powered up and tested for PPF output before being placed in the correct bin, this ensures 100% reliability of efficiency.

Lumileds are one of the few companies that bin led's by powering them up and physically testing the output, many led's are binned based upon their physical colour which means there can be a huge variation in output.

Designed for Horticulture

Form and function combine to give a sophisticated and elegant chassis that not only protect the lights core components but also protects the lamp from the elements. 

The result is a truly beautiful lamp that would grace anyone’s growing area ensuring both plants and humans are stimulated by the light.

Water Repellent Chassis Gutters

The Chassis is designed to repel water featuring no possible ingress from above and a smart exterior design incorporating moulded eye hangers and gutters.

Gutters surround the eye hangers  to channel any moisture that may find its way down your hanging wire to the front of the lamp where it is immediately expelled by the air outtake.

Colour and Material Chassis Thickness

We make our chassis from 4mm thick Polycarbonate so it is extremely tough and durable to the point where it is practically un-breakable.

The chassis is of course white and UV proof to reflect any external heat and light sources such as the sun or other lamps or heaters in your grow area ensuring that maximum efficiency is always met.

No Ingress Top of Cropmaster HB

Due to the smart cooling design, there is absolutely no need for any fan or vent holes on the top of our chassis ensuring that there is no ingress from particulates or moisture during light down time. 


For example, if you have a lamp with a fan where the vents are on the top of the lamp then when the lamp is sleeping particulates and insects can easily make their way into your lamp causing an accumulation that can lead to premature failure or malfunction.

Size and Weight

Keeping overall lamp size to an absolute minimum give you not only a lower cost and light weight lamp but also the small physical footprint ensuring that only the bare minimum of sunlight is blocked by our lamp.

As you can see our lamps are very compact and weigh in at just under 4kg, the use of an external driver also reduces the lamp size and allow for a lower cost maintenance free lamp installation.

 

Were Super Cool

An exceptional lamp of course requires at its heart an exceptional cooling system to ensure that the highest efficiency levels can be produced from the led’s.

Efficienct Heat Sink Bespoke Heat Sinks

At the core of our cooling system is of course a bespoke Aluminium Extrusion style heatsink that is anodized to provide a longer and more effective lifespan. 

The heat sink is designed to perfectly fit each lead string ensuring maximum heat transmission up the fins and then out of the lamp.

Advanced PCB

We use advanced technologies in our PCB to ensure that the led junction temperature is managed in the most efficient manner possible.

We also machine place thermal gel cooling pads on the rear of our PCB to ensure maximum heat transition from the led’s to the heatsink eliminating any possibility of thermal spikes.

Papst Blower Papst Blower

This heatsink works in combination with a tangential blower from EBM-Papst .

EBM-Papst are a German company that excel in producing high quality and long-lasting fans and blowers for many different global markets.  They are undisputedly the world’s number one in fan and blower design and production.

 

 

Superior Optics

As our Cropmaster lamps are designed for harsh and demanding environments we have chosen the material best suited to fit these needs.

Tough and Durable Tough Durable Lens

We make our lens from Makrolon Polycarbonate which provides the same transmission efficiency as PMMA Glass / Acrylic at the thickness that we use.

The benefits of using Makrolon Polycarbonate compared to PMMA is that makrolon is much tougher and practically unbreakable whilst providing extreme resistance to high temperatures, UV and Infra-Red.

Here at Budmaster LED we design our lights with the grower and the space they are trying to cover in mind. For example all of our Budmaster lamps are specifically designed to fit certain common grow tent areas such as 120cm x 120cm x 200cm.

Using effective vertical penetration with our custom lens we ensure the target area has effective PPFD levels whilst minimizing reflectance from the surrounding area to increase efficiency by up to 10%

We generally recommend that your plants grow no closer than 2ft to the light to make best use of the output, however strong healthy plants can grow right into the light with very little adverse effect on the plants.

Getting the Right Average PPFD for Your Environment

It is of course very important that you use your lamps in the best way possible to get the most out of your grow room, with that in mind please refer to the guide for recommendations on the hanging distance of our lamps.

Of course you may find that by adding additional carbon dioxide you can increase the amount of available light to your plants.
